The Titans are just a few pieces away from going back to the playoffs and making another run at the Super Bowl with a good 2020 NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans shocked the entire NFL this season, after breakout seasons from both quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derek Henry. After coming one game from a Super Bowl appearance in 2019, they will look to carry momentum into the 2020 NFL Draft.

Tennessee was also able to re-sign both players for another year, Tannehill got a four-year deal while Henry got the franchised tag. With the Carolina Panthers paying Christian McCaffrey some big money this offseason, this would reset the market for Henry from getting a multi-year deal with the Titans. I know the quarterback position is the most important position on the field, but Henry is the reason why Tennessee was so deadly last season; they need to lock up Henry long term.

Henry was a huge part of the Titans’ success this season, but the Titans’ defense is underrated. With the Titans losing cornerback Malcolm Bulter due to broken hand for the remainder of the season, they still played like one of the best defenses in the AFC. This offseason traded away Jurrell Casey to the Broncos for a seventh-round pick. The Titans w

ere trying to get rid of his massive contract, but Casey is worth more than seventh-round pick. The Titans are also gone lose their nickel cornerback in Logan Ryan due to free agency, Ryan is asking for over 10 million per year. The Titans do not have that kind of money to be spending on a nickel cornerback. I do not know if the Titans will be back to the playoffs, but it was awesome watching them make a run at it.
