More from With the First Pick

The best case scenario for the Redskins at 66 in my eyes. PTW has great size and a strong athletic profile. He’s strong in the run game, and natural in pass protection. However, and injury prevented him from participating in both the Senior Bowl and the Combine, which has effected his stock slightly. He’s still raw, but the upside is obvious. He could develop into the Redskins franchise left tackle.

#108: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

Once believe to be a potential first round selection, the Redskins get great value here with Hall. After losing half his final season to an Achilles injury, Hall has been on the mend for a couple months, and potentially won’t be available until the season has already began. Due to this, it makes it highly likely he’s available in the third and even fourth round. Hall has a long frame and good instincts that lead him to forcing many in-completions. His fit in Jack Del Rio’s Cover-3 is perfect.

#142: Thaddeus Moss, TE, LSU

One of the biggest needs on the Redskins roster is the tight end position, and unfortunately this class isn’t the best suited for filling the need. The team did go out and sign former Lion TE Logan Thomas, who is a very strong athlete. Finding a tight end to pair with Thomas could give them two quality players at the position. Moss is a sure handed security blanket who doubles as a dominant blocker. He lacks the athletic ability to ever be a true seam buster, but his ability to catch anything thrown to him, and act as a 6th offensive lineman is invaluable.
