Cleveland Browns

A Justin Britt signing for the Cleveland Browns would be to play right guard. The Browns have J.C. Tretter currently starting at center. The Browns currently have the most remaining cap space in the NFL, with over $38 Million. With big contracts on the way over the next few years for players such as Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett, it would be wise to sign Britt to either a one year deal, or a two year deal that has the majority of the money in the first year, leaving flexibility to part ways next off-season.

After the 2019 season, the Browns made a concerted effort to improve the offensive line for their young quarterback, Baker Mayfield. After signing former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Jack Conklin, the Browns took Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills with the tenth pick in the 2020 NFL draft. These moves give the Browns four legitimate starting offensive lineman, with Wyatt Teller as the big question mark.

Justin Britt gives Cleveland a low risk, high reward type of player, especially on a short term contract. The Browns already have a playoff caliber offense. Adding a fifth really good offensive lineman just makes them even better. An offensive line that features Jedrick Wills, Joel Bitonio, J.C. Tretter, Justin Britt, and Jack Conklin would be unbelievable. Making the playoffs in 2019 would be unbelievable for this franchise. A ten or eleven win season gives the team the confidence that they may have finally found the right quarterback, head coach, and general manager combination.
