Monday Morning Sleeper: OT Brady Christensen buried in 2021 NFL Draft
By Cory Kinnan
Where does Christensen project at the next level?
Right now Christensen is pretty buried deep within a talented crop of offensive tackles who are 2021 NFL Draft eligible. Christensen is not particularly in a keen position either, as he could make the decision to enter the draft this year, but if there is no season he may be forced to head back to Provo, Utah for another year.
However, should Christensen decide to head back to school, he would not be entering the 2022 NFL Draft until he would be 25 years old, an age most scouts would deter their teams from opting towards early in the draft. Christensen’s best bet is to hope and pray for a season this year and enter the draft this upcoming April.
While there are a ton of positives to build off of from an athletic standpoint, Christensen remains fairly raw in his overall technique. Hopefully we get a season to see how he improves from a consistency standpoint and with his ability to refine his hand usage.
As it stands, Christensen looks worthy of an early day-three flier with the potential to rise into the second day of the draft after the NFL Scouting Combine. However, Christensen could be one of the more severely impacted players in this year’s draft class if there is no season given his current age.
