By Cory Kinnan
Harrison Bryant, TE, Cleveland Browns
Talk about an ideal fit.
The Cleveland Browns, headed up by former offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings Kevin Stefanski, drafted tight end and Mackey Award winner Harrison Bryant in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft after a fantastic Senior season with the Florida Atlantic Owls. Guess which team used the most multiple tight end sets in the league a year ago? Correct, the Minnesota Vikings.

While the Browns have Austin Hooper and David Njoku already on their roster, Bryant is making his case for a large role in year-one in Cleveland. Making contested-catch after contested-catch in training camp, Bryant is certainly forcing his hand with the Browns in the most tight end friendly system in the NFL.
While he fell to the fourth round after testing as a below average athlete, Bryant has shown the ability to catch everything in sight. He still has a way to go to prove he can be a long term and consistent threat at the NFL level, but Bryant is well on his way to proving he belongs with the big boys at the professional level.
He still more than likely enters the season as the third tight end on the depth chart under Hooper and Njoku, the Browns will have a role for Bryant as a big slot/H-back/move chess piece in Stefanski’s intriguing offensive system.
