2021 NFL Draft: You can depend on Robert Rochell to make big plays
Strengths
Let’s start off with the fact that Rochell has great size for a corner. He’s 6-2 and 195lbs with some very long arms. His arms are very valuable when he’s faced with a 50/50 ball that he needs to defend.

The redshirt senior plays stingy and aggressive man coverage where he’s able to shadow receivers down the field. He is at his best against vertical routes because he has the speed and physicality to keep up with receivers. Not only that but since his body movement is fluid, he can turn 180° swiftly.
Even though Rochell is more comfortable in man coverage, he’s also capable of pulling his weight in zone coverage. He has solid reaction time and can be explosive if asked to make a play. With that said, in Central Arkansas’ defense, he’s more than likely asked to play man.
Lastly, the Louisiana native’s biggest strength is his tackling. He rarely misses and isn’t afraid to lay out his body if need be. Last year, when the corner was tasked with making a tackle late in a game, he would deliver. All in all, Rochell is an entertaining playmaker who plays physical football and plays it with a lot of swagger.
