Kenneth Gainwell is off to the 2021 NFL Draft

That makes three opt outs in the last 24 hours as the Memphis Redshirt Sophomore running back Kenneth Gainwell is set to enter the 2021 NFL Draft after just one successful season with the Tigers. Gainwell joins Washington pass rusher Joe Tryon and LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase as the third prospect to declare and opt out of the 2020 season this weekend.

At 5-foot-11 and 191 pounds, Gainwell is an explosive and versatile running back who has the potential to be a big-play threat every time he touches the football.
