Question and answer with Miami Football kicker Andres Borregales
Q: If you could play for any NFL team, who would it be?
A: “The Pittsburgh Steelers. They’re my favorite team.”
Q: Why’s that?
A: “When I was little I just loved their colors, I thought they looked so cool. Then Wiz (Khalifa) came out with ‘Black and Yellow’. Their fans are awesome, they have one of the best-run franchises in the league, I just love it.”
Q: What about a particular head coach you’d like to play for?
A: “Not really. I see all NFL coaches as great coaches since that’s why they’re in the NFL.”

Q: Do you model your game after anyone?
A: “Three people actually: My brother, Justin Tucker, Harrison Butker.”
Q: Okay the first two make sense but why Butker?
A: “His technique, especially on kick-off’s. He just lightly jogs up to the ball and then all of a sudden it’s through the back of the end zone. I study his film all the time.”
Q: If you could improve one part of your game, what would it be?
A: “Mentality. It’s already good but it’s never a bad thing to improve. I’d like to calm myself down more. I think forward to next season when I’ll be at Miami. My first game will be against Alabama. I already have dreams of that game. I had a dream that we were down 21-20 and I had to kick a 47-yard field goal from the left hash and I just drilled it down the middle and stared at the skycam. I woke up ready to go. I live by: ‘Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.'”
