Ravens land Terrace Marshall Jr. and more in 7-round mock draft
Round 5: Pick 170 – Ifeatu Melifonwu – Defensive Back – Syracuse
The Baltimore Ravens have been touted for the stout defensive secondary, a group that includes names such as Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters, Jimmy Smith and Chuck Clark. This group did include superstar Earl Thomas III however he was released earlier this offseason due to locker room issues.
Here in round five, the Baltimore Ravens get a steal in Syracuse defensive Ifeatu Melifonwu. The brother of former UCONN DB Obi Melifonwu, Ifeatu is a just as freaky of an athlete as his older sibling.
Joe Marino of The Draft Network breaks down the strengths of Melifonwu:
"“Smooth athlete with terrific length. Blend of length and ball skills leads to disruption at the catch point. Breaks on the football with good timing, showcasing the ability to drive forward on the ball and track it over his shoulder. Flashes the ability to win in press coverage and he’s willing to crowd the frame of receivers early. Has the physical traits to compete with X-receivers. Has good transitions and change of direction ability for a corner of his size. Does well to leverage route stems and use the sideline to his advantage.”"

Having played both corner and safety, Melifonwu has the potential to be a good chess piece for the Baltimore Ravens. Day three is too low for Melifonwu but just right for Baltimore, as this writer loves his athleticism and ball skills.
Round 6: Pick 201 – Noah Gray – Tight End – Duke
This past offseason, the Baltimore Ravens shipped former first-round tight end Hayden Hurst off to the Atlanta Falcons for a second round pick. Franchise favorite Nick Boyle was lost for the season due to a gruesome Week 10 leg injury suffered vs the New England Patriots.
The Ravens love getting multiple tight ends involved in their offensive game plans, which was a small part to their success in 2019. While Noah Gray isn’t a Boyle type, he can come in and play a similar role to what Hurst played in 19′. Gray has a reliable pair of hands that the Baltimore Ravens can use as a short area and over the middle target for Jackson.
Round 6: Pick 210 – Deommodore Lenoir – CB – Oregon
For their last pick of this 2021 mock draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Oregon corner Deommodore Lenoir. Going back to the well of defensive backs, the Ravens get potential nickel corner who can come in a pinch when Tavon Young is unavailable. While Lenoir needs to work on his eye discipline, he possesses good movement skills and ball production that could make him a potential late round steal.
