3. Pull the plug on Wentz and Hurts

The quarterback position is undoubtedly a massive question mark in Philadelphia. There are murmurs that the dismissal of Doug Pederson could now lead to Carson Wentz getting yet another chance with the Eagles. On top of that they will enter the offseason with a controversy as Jalen Hurts now looks to win over the starting job fulltime.

While it is unlikely unless a new head coach and potential new general manager have their say, the Eagles could still look for a new gunslinger of the future with the sixth overall pick. While Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence looks like the surefire top pick in the draft, the other three quarterbacks of Ohio State’s Justin Fields, BYU’s Zach Wilson, and North Dakota State’s Trey Lance looks to be a toss up.

More than likely, however, Fields will land as the second overall pick with the Atlanta Falcons as another team potentially in the market for a new quarterback. This will likely leave one of Wilson or Lance left on the board when the Eagles come on the clock. Do not put it past Philadelphia to take a new quarterback should they feel unsettled about their future at the position and the guys currently on the roster.
