3. Replace Janoris Jenkins at cornerback

Similar to linebacker, the Saints will likely be in the market for a new corner this offseason. Marshon Lattimore is entering the last year of his rookie deal and will be looking to get PAID. However, due to the Saints limitations in terms of cap space Lattimore may be getting big bucks from another team as the Saints might be forced to let him walk in free agency.

The team also has Patrick Robinson in the last year of his contract and Janoris Jenkins being a cuttable player for them and aging as he enters next year at the age of 33. This leaves the teams secondary very bear from the years 2022 and forward, leaving the door open to corner being atop their draft boards if the right player falls to them.

Currently the corner class seems to fall off a bit after the top three guys, with UGA’s Eric Stokes often filling that fourth spot. Outside of him though you often see his teammate Tyson Campbell or Ifeatu Melifonwu from Syracuse as the next guys up at the position.

With Lattimore there for another year the developmental pick in Campbell could be enticing. Stokes is the best of the bunch but there’s more likelihood he is gone already. Melifonwu is the guy who is not talked about currently that could be a sneaky first round pick in a few months.
