3. Paulson Adebo, Stanford

2018 Paulson Adebo looked like a future first-round pick. Everything was going great for him that season. Turn on the 2019 tape and things got predominantly worse for Adebo. He opted out of the 2020 season and decided to prepare for the draft early. I would have liked to see him play in 2020 and show improvement from his last season.

That is in the past and we can only focus on the present. Seattle has a big cornerback need and should look to fill that role in any way possible. It’s hard to ignore the 2018 film we seen from Adebo. He was being mocked in the first round of several mock drafts. Yes, that is not saying much but it’s an indication of the attention he was garnering at the time.

Next. Alabama’s Jaylen Waddle is WR1 in loaded class. dark

He showed the ability to be a shutdown corner in the past. He can be physical, and he uses his size to his advantage. He showed the necessary instincts to process things quickly and make plays on the football. He understands his job in zone coverage well enough to close throwing lanes quickly. Seattle would be banking on a ton of projection with Paulson but he’s worth a pick on day three of the draft.
