Team needs for Cowboys

Cornerback is an absolutely glaring need in Dallas right now. Anthony Brown, Jourdan Lewis, and Trevon Diggs are simply not good enough to have a competent defense in the modern NFL. Ask yourself, “how does that match up with Tampa Bay in a potential playoff game”? Lewis on Mike Evans? Brown on Chris Godwin? That sounds like a nightmare for Dan Quinn’s defense. It’s time for the Cowboys to invest in the cornerback position.

The interior defensive line is another sore spot for the Cowboys. The current room includes Antwaun Woods, Trysten Hill, Justin Hamilton, Neville Gallimore, and Walter Palmore. However, they do have several “big ends” that will likely slide inside repeatedly However, there is no high-impact player on the defensive line. Gallimore has that type of potential but is not there yet. Unfortunately for Dallas, the 2021 interior defensive line class has left much to be desired, especially after the impressive 2020 class.

The Dallas roster is extremely talented and does not have many holes. However, they could use some help on the interior offensive line. Connor Williams has been relatively uninspiring at left guard, and Joe Looney not back leaving fifth round pick Tyler Biadasz as the potential starting center. With so many injuries on the offensive line last season, Dallas may be looking to add depth.
