Weaknesses

Though injury concerns should perhaps be put to bed, for now, Moore’s size will likely limit him to a slot role at the next level, even though he was used as an outside receiver for Ole Miss and there was no obvious drop-off in his play when he operated in that role.

Some teams may be put off by much of Moore’s yardage after the catch coming through speed and contact balance rather than elusiveness. Defenders are less likely to fall off him at the highest level and, though he demonstrated he can make defenders miss, Moore did not prove he can string cuts together in the open field and is certainly not as shifty as some of his contemporaries in this class.

His diminutive frame may also limit Moore’s effectiveness as a blocker. He has shown no lack of effort in this area, however, and the primary holes in Moore’s game are not ones that should prohibit him from being successful in the pros.

The biggest question surrounding him is whether the lack of consistency in evading defenders in the open field will cap his potential as a yard after catch threat. Even if that were to be the case, Moore would still be an upgrade on what the Packers have had in the slot in recent years.
