Samuel Cosmi, Texas

Something that remains constant between Teven Jenkins and Samuel Cosmi is the trend of elite athletic traits. For as good of an athlete as Jenkins is, Cosmi is a better one. Samuel Cosmi was the starting left tackle for the Texas Longhorns. His tape is tremendous and really shows off how good of an athlete he is.

He has some growth to do in terms of footwork in his pass sets, but he’ll be able to learn under one of the best offensive tackles in the NFL, Ronnie Stanley. Having a tackle duo of Samuel Cosmi and Ronnie Stanley could prove to be one of the best in the league in a few years. If the Ravens do not have Orlando Brown any longer, Samuel Cosmi is not a bad consolation prize.

Looking at his athletic traits, there is a player who has similar traits who heavily succeeded from the 2020 NFL Draft, Tristan Wirfs. Athleticism is not a must-have, but it is definitely a plus, and when a player has athletic traits like Cosmi, they get a leg up on the competition. Being fast and quick allows tackles to beat edge rushers to landmarks and allows them to carry them up the arc at very high rates.
