The Los Angeles Chargers seemed to have suck gold last year with Justin Herbert, and avoid missing on a quarterback. The young elite quarterback and a new coach could send this team back to the playoffs for a long time. Offensive line help was a need and they attacked it well in free agency, but still have holes. With a healthy defense, upgraded offensive line, and some solid draft picks this team is a really good all-around team. Anthony Lynn last year seemed to be a catalyst for late-game failures, with that gone we could see a double-digit winning year for the Chargers.

Last year was good and bad for the Chargers with Herbert coming up, but also freak injuries and late-game letdowns.

This is not a bad team, it was just a poorly lead team that dealt with a myriad of injuries. With everyone back healthy offense and defense, there is a lot of talent on the team. Not without questions, however, and some big ones.

What are the glaring questions for the Chargers?

Is Mike Williams ever going to stay healthy and take over? How do they replace Hunter Henry? Can the interior of the defense help with pass-rush and coverage? Will Herbert be able to continue his progression with a new coaching staff?

These are important questions coming into the draft. They will be in multiple positions to pick a Mike Williams replacement and fix the interior of that defense. Herbert only lost weapons in free agency he did not gain any. This will be something to watch not only in the 2021 NFL Draft but also after as there are still many free agents left out there.
