Tremaine Edmunds

That player is actually Terrell Edmunds’ brother, Tremaine Edmunds who is currently the starting linebacker for the Buffalo Bills. He was also a first round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and essentially stepped in as a starter for the Bills right away as a rookie.

Edmunds has 74 starts over the past five years, has surpassed 100 total tackles every year, and was named to the Pro Bowl twice (2019 and 2020).

The Steelers have a long history of having some excellent linebackers play for their franchise but haven’t had the same level of performance recently. They will likely be looking for another linebacker to pair with Myles Jack, who signed as a free agent this past offseason, as Devin Bush and Robert Spillane are set to be free agents this offseason.

There is no question that Tremaine Edmunds will be a highly sought after free agent this offseason, and he likely will end up being one of the highest-paid players at his position. However, if the Pittsburgh Steelers can find a way to make a contract fit within their salary cap he would be a big addition to this defense.
