It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Atlanta Falcons trade out of this pick, especially if one of the Top 3 quarterbacks (Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, or Will Levis) is still available. However, for the sake of this mock draft there are no trades and the Falcons add one of the top defensive tackles in this year’s draft class.

The Falcons have an excellent defensive tackle in Grady Jarrett and being able to pair him with Bryan Bresee would give this defense one of the best defensive tackle duos in the league. It would improve the interior of this defensive line and make it much tougher for teams to run the ball.

It will also create problems on passing downs as both Jarrett and Bresee are good at generating pressure on quarterbacks and collapsing the pocket up the middle. With Jarrett under contract through the 2025 season, this is a position that will have their starters in place for the next few seasons.
