Green-Beckham most reminds me of his Randy Moss with his freakish athleticism and character concerns. He ended up falling to No. 21 and “ripped up the league” en route to a Hall of Fame career. But now, you have Josh Gordon being suspended for a full year so personnel people have reason to be scared off and reason not to want to miss out as that’s what game’s are.
Brugler’s bottom line is, “Compares to A.J. Green, Bengals – Green-Beckham still has a long way to go to reach his football ceiling, but flashes the potential of past first rounders like Green.”
Zlerlein’s bottom line is ” Long-strider with vertical ability to change a game and the catch radius and body control to make the difficult look easy. However, Green-Beckham struggles against physical cornerbacks, and is raw as a route runner with poor instincts when it comes to getting open. It’s easy to bet on the traits when a receiver has high football character and is a willing worker, but teams could pass on the traits early in the draft due to his perceived lack of work ethic and overall character.”
