The Green Bay Packers are one of the NFL’s model franchise in large part due to their ability to draft and develop talent. For more on the Packers’ needs entering the 2015 NFL Draft, I got together with Lombardi Ave’s Ray Rivard. Below are my questions followed by his answers.

FanSided
1. How have the team’s draft needs changed since free agency opened?
"With the loss of cornerbacks Davon House and Tramon Williams to free agency, the need to bolster the cornerback position has jumped a couple of notches. Though, in my opinion, the team still has to address the ILB position first and foremost."
2. What would you say are the top three needs remaining?
"Inside linebacker, defensive line, and now cornerback."
3. Are there any prospects that have caught your eye so far?
"Bernardrick McKinney, Denzel Perryman, and Stephone Anthony"
4. What do you think would make for a successful draft for your team?
"If the Packers can land an ILB, defensive lineman, cornerback, tight end and possibly even a running back over the course of the three days of the draft, I would say Packers fans would be pleased."
5. So much draft focus often goes to the first few rounds, but is there something you’d like to see your team do in the later rounds?
"Offensive linemen have always been the gravy on the potatoes for GM Ted Thompson and the Packers in the mid to late rounds of the draft. However, the team also needs to add depth at quarterback. If they can land a solid developmental QB in the mid to late rounds, that would be the cherry on top. In addition, a tight end may also be something that would add competition to the position for Green Bay – a position that hasn’t been nearly as productive since the Packers lost Jermichael Finley to a career-ending neck injury."
