2-Deep New York Giants Depth Chart
By Jon Dove
Left Tackle
Starter: Ereck Flowers
Backup: Byron Stingily
It was surprising to see the Giants spend so much money this offseason and not address the offensive line. Ereck Flowers had a solid rookie year, but looked out of place at left tackle. He just doesn’t have the fluidity or foot speed to hold up in space.
The Giants will need to give Flowers help on a weekly basis.
Left Guard
Starter: Justin Pugh
Backup: Adam Gettis
Pugh hasn’t lived up to his draft status, but is a solid contributor. He’s arguably the most reliable offensive lineman on the roster. Adam Gettis is a solid backup who can step in if necessary.
Center
Starter: Weston Richburg
Backup: Shane McDermott
Weston Richburg is locked in as the starting center and has been the team’s best offensive lineman over the past few years. His career is still on the uptick with him showing improvement each year.

Shane McDermott will likely be the first man up should one of the interior offensive lineman get hurt. His versatility makes him a valuable part of the roster.
Right Guard
Starter: John Jerry
Backup: Ryan Seymour
The Giants just don’t know what to expect from John Jerry. He has put together strong performances in the past, but has also looked terrible at times. The issue is the Giants don’t have a better option.
Right Tackle
Starter: Marshall Newhouse
Backup: Bobby Hart
The reports are that New York is more than comfortable with Marshall Newhouse as their starting right tackle. However, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Bobby Hart takes over at someone during the year.
