2) D’Andre Swift- Georgia

Swift is one of the more electric, elusive running backs we’ve been able to watch over recent years. He’ll be in the mix to be RB1 all season long.

Swift has fantastic change-of-direction ability; he’d escape a phone booth full of defenders if he had to. This is an elite area of his game.

Prospects with Swift’s elusiveness tend to get carried away with how often they use it, or just try to get too fancy and end up getting stopped in their tracks. Swift is the complete opposite, he doesn’t have wasted movements. He does a great job of carrying his momentum downfield, and each juke is made with purpose.

Out of everyone in the top five, Swift is the most proven pass catcher. He was this watchlist’s leader in both receptions and yards in 2018.

Swift isn’t the most powerful back, but he has good genes and will have little trouble bulking up if needed. Assuming he has another year like last season, he’ll be in the first-round conversation.
