Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

It’s been a bit of a down season for junior wide receiver Jalen Reagor. He had 1,061 yards receiving and nine touchdowns as a sophomore and has just 545 yards through 10 games as a junior. Even though the production has decreased, his talent is still there.

Reagor is an outstanding athlete and explosive playmaker. He operates superbly in space and can be a nemesis to opposing defenses after the catch. As far as his route-running, Reagor excels at creating separation in the short area and vertically down the field. Reagor makes defenders look foolish with double moves, which were key to a lot of success in 2018. In 2019, he’s shown the ability to go up and high point the football, an excellent sign for a receiver of his size.

Something we haven’t seen Reagor go up against is press coverage, with Big 12 defenses often preferring to play off.

He might see the same thing against Oklahoma, but one thing he will face is contact. At 5’11” and 195 pounds, it will be interesting to see if he can work through contact to get separation.

Reagor will likely need a big game for TCU to stay close.
