9. Kylin Hill, Mississippi State

One of the SEC’s top backs, Kylin Hill has totaled over 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Balance and power are the hallmarks of Hill’s game. He is not afraid of contact, as many opposing defenders can attest. His speed isn’t top-end, but he is quick through openings and has the vision to find the proper running lanes.

A strong runner in the SEC, Hill fits his team’s mascot well: a Bulldog. He fights for tough yards between the tackles, but also has the ability to bounce it outside and get to the edge if that is where the lane develops as well.

In the clip posted above, Hill puts his ability to create is on display. Several runs are highlighted, and each shows off his ability to run through contract, or even drag would-be tacklers for extra yards. He does no go down easily.

Hill is another running back, like Perine, that could fall into day three, but his knack for breaking tackles will catch the attention of scouts. He’s an exciting player deserving of a day two selection. In fact, He could give some team a bellcow in the third day should he slip that far with his combination of size, speed, strength, and agility.
