QB. Utah State. Scouting Report. Jordan Love. 10. player. 46. Pick Analysis

He has officially declared for the 2020 NFL Draft as of yesterday, and is likely going to be a first round pick. There are numerous teams who need a quarterback, and Utah State’s Jordan Love has all of the arm talent and traits needed. He does, however, have a bit of lacking in the mental processing and accuracy areas of his game.

What is a place where Love can potentially sit for a year or two before being thrust into the starting lineup, a place where he can be groomed and his elite arm talent can be nurtured? How about a place where a bridge quarterback is on a fairly team friendly deal through the 2021 season?

The Indianapolis Colts and Jordan Love are a match made in Heaven. Let head coach Frank Reich mold Love and his tantalizing skillset, while Jacoby Brissett remains at the wheel until he is ready to roll. This may lead to a down year and a half or so, but for the long term safety and success of the Colts, this may be the right move to make.

If the Colts want Love, however, they will have to use their first round pick in order to grab him as he is likely not going to make it out of the first round. The peanut butter to the Colts’ jelly, Love to Indianapolis makes too much sense.
