At 5’9 and 183 pounds, Robertson could stand to gain a few more pounds so that he can be more effective in run support. To play the nickel he is going to need to be able to set a consistent edge for the defense. His play strength is only adequate which will hurt him in being effective in run support.

Robertson needs to do a better job of shedding blocks consistently so that he can slow down runs on the perimeter. He will go for the big play too often and not wrap up which will cause him to miss tackles on bigger ball carriers at the next level.
Despite his size, Robertson is ready to take on the challenges at the next level. There are not a ton of flaws to Robertson’s game, and his draft stock could be a precedent for how high teams are willing to draft nickel cornerbacks as the league has begun to shift towards a pass heavy league.
