More from Los Angeles Rams

The interior of the Rams’ offensive line is in absolute shambles.

Brian Allen is highly replaceable at center, and left guard Austin Corbett struggled after being cast off from the Cleveland Browns a year ago. Austin Blythe even struggled in 2019 after a highly productive 2018 season, is back with the Rams in 2020. Upgrading these positions must be a priority for the Rams as they head into the new season.

With the 52nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and their first of two picks in the second round, the Rams select Temple center Matt Hennessey. Hennessey has benefited greatly from a solid Reese’s Senior Bowl, and now works his way into the top-60 of the draft.

EDGE. 811. Scouting Report. Joshua Uche. 2. player. Pick Analysis. 57th overall

Speaking of Senior Bowl standouts, Michigan’s Joshua Uche put together an explosive week and displayed a world of versatility to rush the passer off the edge, as well as cover backs and tight ends down the field. The Rams could use a talent like Uche after losing Clay Matthews and Dante Fowler this offseason to play in a hybrid SAM role.

With their second pick here in the top-60, the Rams take Uche in order to give themselves some explosive versatility off the edge.
