The Steelers have one of the best defenses in all of football last season, what pieces do they need in the 2020 NFL Draft to make a run for the playoffs?

The Pittsburgh Steelers were a roller coaster last season as their defense was one of the best in football, but that offense without Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger did not look very in sync at all. What side of the ball will they look to improve in the 2020 NFL Draft?

If the Steelers had Big Ben last season, they would have made the playoffs and might of had a chance to run the tables as that defense was getting very hot as the season got later. With the Steelers making trades last offseason during the draft to get linebacker Devin Bush and this season to trade for Mikah Fitzpatrick. The Steelers are one of those teams that do not have a first-round pick.

The Steelers were able to keep most of the defense together which was the biggest priority this offseason as they decided to utilize the franchise tag on edge rusher Bud Dupree. Dupree, However, is very streaky, and there are games when he shows you that he can be a star and there are times that he shows you that he should not be on the field. If Dupree has a good season this upcoming season, he could be getting a lot of money from the Steelers or from another team in free agency.
