The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the best defenses on paper, but what can they do in the 2020 NFL Draft to make the defense even better?

The San Diego Chargers, whoops I mean Los Angeles Chargers. That is going to get weird to hear. The Chargers left San Diego, when that happened Phillip Rivers left the Chargers. Just is the first time since 2004 that the Chargers do not have a franchise quarterback on their roster; can they get their new signal caller in the 2020 NFL Draft?

Rivers decided to sign with the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year deal worth $25 million, fully guaranteed. The Chargers announced that they are going to roll with Tyrod Taylor as their starting quarterback for the upcoming 2020 season but I personally am not buying into that. I think the Los Angeles Chargers are drafting a quarterback in the first round.

The Los Angeles Chargers are a win-now type of team. They have a nice defense with cornerbacks Casey Heyward, Desmond King, and newly acquired cornerback in Chris Harris Jr. The Chargers also have a young stud safety in Derwin James and also have young safety, Nasir Adderley. The Chargers also have Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa rushing the passer on the edges with Linval Joseph and young Jerry Tillery clogging up the middle. This defense is just missing a stud linebacker to becoming one of the best defenses in the entire NFL.
