In a deep wide receiver class, a name to watch in the later rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft is Austin Peay’s DeAngelo Wilson can provide a big-play spark. Despite his listing at just 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, Wilson shows the ability to rack up big plays for the Austin Peay offense, playing with a level of grit and toughness as he takes his shots making difficult catches across the middle of the field.

A year ago, Wilson lit up the box score for Austin Peay, racking up over 1,500 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns on 89 catches. As a sophomore in 2018, Wilson managed to snatch seven touchdowns and 478 yards receiving. He now looks to replicate his success in hopes of making a name for himself with NFL teams.
He will be matched up against a high-profile small school cornerback we will get to next, so if he can light up the scoreboard he will be in position to catch the eyes of everyone who has been deprived of football for this long.
