Oklahoma State Football gets a duo of invites to the Senior Bowl
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is beginning to rack up a world of talent, perhaps more than any year in the past. With the 2021 NFL Draft on the horizon for these young men looking to make the leap to the professional level, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have had a dynamic duo accept their invitations.
Massive riser and right tackle Teven Jenkins, along with the biggest face in Stillwater in Tylan Wallace are off to Mobile, Alabama as they look to give their draft stock an added boost. With large draft portfolios already to their names, what can Jenkins and Wallace do at the Senior Bowl to continue to entice NFL scouts and general managers?

Jenkins, an offensive tackle who is on the rise as he has dominated at the Big-12 level this season, now has every right to be a first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He landed with the Pittsburgh Steelers with the last pick of the first round in this writer’s latest mock draft, and could land even higher than 32 moving forward.
He is a big, strong, and nasty right tackle in Stillwater, and has dominated the likes of Joseph Ossai on the season. Should he go to the Senior Bowl and dominate the edge rushers across from him all week long, he will continue to catch the eyes of general managers and scouts. Look for Jenkins to do just that as he remains a frontrunner for the Outland Award this season.

Wallace the face of Oklahoma State Football
Coming off of a torn ACL that ended his 2019 season, Wallace looks like he is back to full strength as he is able to dominate at the catchpoint and vertically down the field. On the season this year for the Cowboys, Wallace has racked up 583 yards and four touchdowns on 35 catches in six games.

As Wallace heads to the Senior Bowl, he can continue to prove his worth by going against top ranked cornerbacks at the event. He needs to prove his knee is 100 percent long term as he goes to Mobile, Alabama. Putting more, valuable reps on tape for the wide receiver could be of the utmost importance.
