Three trade destinations for receiver DeAndre Hopkins

Baltimore Ravens

Someone please get Lamar Jackson a legitimate wide receiver!  Rashod Bateman has had two injury plagued seasons, Hollywood Brown is no longer on the team, and Mark Andrews can only do so much.

It has been abundantly clear for years that the Ravens are missing a game-changing wide receiver.  Sure, they’re not easy to find, but DeAndre Hopkins is likely getting moved this offseason, so the Ravens should go get him.

This could also serve as a nice boost in their chances to get a deal done with Lamar Jackson, who they should re-sign under every circumstance.  The team’s running game is elite and has been elite since Jackson has been installed as the starter, but their passing attack is nothing special.

Adding someone like Hopkins makes this Ravens’ offense scary, and coupled with their improved defense, would be quite the team to deal with in 2023.  Sure, Hopkins is not a five year option for them, but he’s something.

Every elite quarterback in the NFL does have an elite receiver to throw to, so I don’t see why this needs to be different for Lamar Jackson.
