Here’s an early look at some 2017 NFL Draft Scouting Reports.

NFL OTA’s are just starting where we will get a chance to see most of the 2016 NFL draft prospects get their first taste of the league. However, that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start looking toward the 2017 NFL Draft.

My early focus was on some of the bigger name quarterbacks and edge rushers. Washington State’s Luke Falk was really impressive and someone more than capable of being the No. 1 overall pick.

Falk doesn’t fit the mold of a spread quarterback as he’s able to go through progressions and will stretch the field. He is a good athlete with the arm strength needed to make all the NFL throws.

There’s going to be a good battle among the wide receiver group on who’ll be the first one selected. USC’s JuJu Smith-Schuster and Western Michigan’s Corey Davis are both big-time playmakers. Smith-Schuster is a physical player who reminds me a lot of Brandon Marshall.

Davis is slightly more explosive and is an extremely smooth athlete. He’s a well-rounded receiver who can take the top off a defense or work the underneath routes.

Florida State’s DeMarcus Walker stood out to me among the defenders I scouted. He’s a freak athlete with a combination of excellent length and bulk. If Walker shows more consistency he has a chance to be one of the first players selected in the 2017 NFL Draft.
