1. New England Patriots – 6-1

The Patriots continued to dominate against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In what seemed on paper to be a huge game changed last week when Roethlisberger was injured. This game ended up being Tom Brady vs Landry Jones. The Patriots gave up only one touchdown winning 27-16.

The offensive line did a great job creating holes which led to LeGarrette Blount rushing for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Brady went 19 of 26 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception.

The Patriots are the third team to start the season without an interception in seven games since 1933. Rob Gronkowski also made the history books grabbing his 68th touchdown tying the franchise record.

More from With the First Pick

Despite starting the season with Brady facing a four game suspension the Patriots have found a way to win. They went 4-1 with two different quarterbacks without Brady. Since his return they have won two straight. The only loss came against the Buffalo Bills as a shut out and this week they face off with that same team.

Rex Ryan hates the Patriots and will do whatever he can to sweep the series. Brady is playing with a chip on his shoulder after having to serve a four game suspension. He will also want to pay back the Bills for shutting out his team while he was suspended.

Now that they have the best record in the NFL it is going to be hard to knock them off the top of the NFL Power Rankings.
