2020 NFL Draft: Jordan Love is a talented, but flawed quarterback
By Jeremy Meek
Jordan Love looked like a future top ten draft pick after the 2018 season, but isn’t even a sure first round selection after a rocky 2019. A preseason favorite has failed to live up to the 2020 NFL Draft hype.

Going into the 2019 season, Jordan Love was on the short list of names that analysts thought could get drafted inside the top ten from the quarterback position. Love was phenomenal in 2018, and was skyrocketing up draft boards. Then this season happened, and his stock has taken a serious hit.
It should be noted that the 2018 Utah State team went 11-2 and were ranked as high as #14 in the country. Their only two losses came to ranked teams in Michigan State and Boise State. Last year’s team was undoubtedly a better, more talented team. It’s also important to note that they had a new head coach this season in Gary Anderson. They also lost several starters from last year’s team.

The 2019 season hasn’t gone as well as 2018 for the Aggies as the previous year. They’re 7-5 this year, and Love’s production has suffered along with the win-loss record. His stats have dropped across the board. Numbers aren’t nearly as important as the tape, but it is certainly something to be considered.
