Dylan Moses, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

Before the beginning of the 2019 college football season, Dylan Moses was getting talked about as the best linebacker in the class next to Isaiah Simmons. However, before he was able to step on the field for Alabama on Saturday, Moses went down with a torn ACL in practice, which resulted in him missing the entire season, forcing him to make the decision to return to school.

More from With the First Pick

Based on the way things are shaping up, Moses is going to have another battle for the number one linebacker in his respected class, but this year he may not have a shot at that title with Micah Parsons in the mix; nonetheless, he still has the talent to go in the top-15. Moses is an extremely athletic linebacker who has the ability to cover sideline-to-sideline. Moses also possesses a ton of upside in coverage; it may be the best part of his game and what makes him so intriguing as a prospect.

Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama

When we talked about, Barmore, it was mentioned that we seem to always be talking about a Crimson Tide defensive lineman, but when you look at the other side of the ball, the receiver’s haven’t done too bad either. The consistency in which Alabama puts out receivers isn’t quite matched, but the talent they produce at the position is from guys like Julio Jones and Amari Cooper in the past, and this last season they produced two first-round receivers — Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs.

Heading into the 2020 season and it’s looking like the Crimson Tide could have another two receivers to crack the first round, one of them being Jaylen Waddle. Waddle hasn’t had much playing time in Alabama’s offense in prior years, but with both Jeudy and Ruggs gone, expect an expanded role for Waddle. In that role, Waddle is likely to insert himself into the conversation of being one of the best receivers in the country.
